Guests flocked to the Above Rooftop Lounge at the Hilton Garden Inn Friday evening to lend their support to the Staten Island Ballet’s return of a new season and recognize two community advocates who’ve contributed to the dance company and many other worthy organizations.
Ana Luiza Luizi and Junio Enrique Teixeira, known as “That Brazilian Couple,” are professional ballet artists with more than 25 years experience revolving around the art of dance, working with distinguished dance companies and performing in venues the world over.
A lavish evening of dining, dancing, entertainment, plenty of auction action with prizes of jewels, one-of-kind fashions, a galaxy of other gifts, cash prizes, and casino gaming, unfolds one night each year when the Staten Island Ballet plays host to a most glamorous gala.
